How to sponsor

Making profit and growing distribution during the current economic climate can be tough. The supermarkets continue to reduce profit margins and it's unlikely to be the best year for the on-trade if we're honest. The independents however offer real opportunity to make profit - if only the relationship building wasn't such a lengthy process!

The Top Merchants in association with Gruppo Italiano Vini, will be launched in February 2010, with a series of seminar sessions, networking lunches, tastings and fun activities taking place throughout the year. Harpers Wine & Spirit would like to invite your involvement as a partner to the Top Merchants, and in return for your support will provide the means to really get to know this lucrative and growing sector - via actually attending the sessions with them, perhaps playing some golf and even having your own dedicated tasting.

We will be looking for a select few partners to work with on this exciting project with each partner having the benefit of exclusive ownership of their selected event.

Seminar Partners:

  • Brand exposure and full association as seminar partner on all publicity associated with the Top Merchants.
  • Exclusive sponsorship of selected seminar session including branding across all event materials.
  • Opportunity to meet, engage and network with the members at a selected seminar session, including inclusion of dedicated tasting session - opportunity to showcase product, raise its profile and gain listings with this exclusive group.
  • Opportunity to address the group via a direct mailing to its members pre-event- may be used for product promotion, special offers, invitations to tasting events, etc.
  • Priority positioning of full page advertisement within Independent Merchants issue.
  • Follow-up editorial coverage of event in the following issue of Harpers Wine & Spirit
  • Button on bespoke Top Merchants website.
  • 2 places at selected seminar session
